dual personalities

I’m heading home today after three fun-filled days with the prairie fam! I’m not sure what all we did, but we were busy.

Ida was brave and went to the dentist for the first time…

We got ice cream at Jarling’s…

And we took many walks around the neighborhood. I watched Christian music videos on my phone with Ida and we sang along. We like the Gettys, but our favorite is still Matt Maher.

Daughter #2 went to Katie’s school for her parent-teacher conference and I stayed home with the bud, who is amazingly mobile…

He got along fine with his Mamu.

We even went to the Subaru dealer to look at cars, but that didn’t amount to anything. C’est la vie.

All in all, a satisfying visit and I am happy I can still pick up big Wes.

God willing, I will have an easy trip back home today! Tomorrow daughter #1 and I are going on a Missouri River cruise on the “Miss Augusta” sponsored by the Mercantile Library. Good times abounding.
