My cup runneth over

by chuckofish

Yesterday I was cooking with gas–probably because I got a good night’s sleep for once.

I voted! I was in and out in 10 minutes! The County Library was set up to handle a lot of people, so there was no waiting. And I had brought my sample ballot and knew how I wanted to vote–so prepared! Then I went to the grocery store on the way home. I did laundry and some desk work. I mean really, can you even? All before 10:30 in the morning.

In the afternoon I went to my Bible Study group where we discussed Psalm 23. It really is perfection. I prefer the KJV (why mess with perfection):

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

And I got my car washed!

AND I donated to the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. Have you?
