Arise, shake off your guilty fears and rise!

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty busy. Mr. Smith went home on Friday and, boy, was he happy to be back guarding his own turf!
On Saturday morning daughter #1 and I went to a DAR meeting downtown at the Soldiers Memorial, where I had never been in all my years living in St. Louis.

We had a tour, which was very good. I was impressed by the military museum.

We went to our favorite winery in Hillsboro afterwards as is our tradition and that was, as always, very pleasant. The live music was also very enjoyable. We were not the only people grooving to the 70s playlist:
Those ladies had the dance moves. (We restrained ourselves from joining them.)
On Sunday I got up and went to the early service and met the boy and the twins. We had a great sermon on I Corinthians 2:6-16 about true wisdom.

Adult Ed was the conclusion to our class on Union with Christ–just great. I continue to learn so much!
{W}hen we were children, we were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God. (Galatians 4:3-7)
We went to our favorite Sunny Street Cafe after church for the first time in months. We enjoyed our brunch and conversation. I heard about how in their Sunday School class the twins are learning about SIN, which I was happy to hear. The bud told me that it all started with Adam and Eve. Lottie also made several friendship bracelets–not sure how that computes, but you go, girl.
Today I am getting ready to head up to the prairie tomorrow to see these kiddoes…
Pray for smooth sailing in the speedwagon and no rain! Have a great day! Check out a museum you’ve never been to! Dance with your friends! Count your blessings!
