So daughter #1 is coming home tomorrow for a little flyover R&R. She is also celebrating a big birthday.

P.S. We must note that Joan Rivers has died, but I couldn’t say it better than daughter #1 did on her blog. RIP, Joan.

Happy Birthday to Daughter #1…enjoy your time together!
Yesterday a student waited among others to talk to me after class. When I finally got to her she said, “Joan Rivers died. I just thought you would want to know.” It was odd (“do I remind you of her?” I thought) but kind of sweet.
I’m jealous of the fun times you will have with Miss M!
