To-whit! To-who!—a merry note

“How wonderful yellow is. It stands for the sun.”
– Vincent Van Gogh
“When spring came, even the false spring, there were no problems except where to be happiest. The only thing that could spoil a day was people and if you could keep from making engagements, each day had no limits. People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself.”
― Ernest Hemingway, A Moveable Feast

Love that Hemingway quote! And those pics!
I pulled my car over to take the first two pictures out my window. Always thinking of my blog!
Wonderful! Your forsythia is already blooming! We are just in the throes of mud season. Love that Hemingway quote — how true.
Our mother made me appreciate forsythia. She loved it and would frequently cut sprays of it to make an artsy centerpiece for the dining room. I wish I had a forsythia bush!
One of the GEO committee members brought forsythia (which she stole from a neighbor’s bush!) in two large vases for our conference tables’ centerpieces! Very pretty
Ah, Kirkwood looks so nice!
